Quality and Service – the heart of our business
Our principal role is the production and supply of high-quality cereal and pulse seeds, which are marketed throughout Eastern, Central and Southern England.
All our seed is certified and grown by us and an exclusive group of contracted growers based in East Anglia. It is processed through our laboratory and specialist production facilities at Earl Soham. We supply conventional and organic seed, all of which are grown to impeccably high standards – a commitment that enables Walnes to deliver exceptional product quality and a bespoke service to every supplier and customer.
Our product range also includes a broad range of oilseeds, grass seeds, game cover and an expanding range of environmental cover and wild flora and herbage options, which are sourced from trusted suppliers.
All Walnes seed and seed blends are quality assured and fully traceable
GRASS & HERBAGE
Our expanding grass seed enterprise offers a comprehensive range of standard and bespoke seed blends suitable for all types of pasture/forage leys, amenity grassland and environmental cover. All of our mixtures are made-to-order, on site, in our purpose-built facilities, so we can also create specific seed mixtures that meet individual customer requirements. More details can be found on our Grass Seed page.
ORGANIC
We offer a comprehensive range of quality-assured organic cereals and pulses and a complete range of bespoke organic grass and environmental mixtures. All are processed and blended at our mixing facility in Earl Soham and are produced to order.
