Distribution & Delivery

Walnes processes more than 10,000 tonnes of seed a year. It operates two cleaning lines with packing stations and three additional blending lines each with separate packing stations. The facilities are powered by green energy, generated by some 450 solar panels positioned on the roof.

Seed can be packaged in bags ranging from 2.5kgs (amenity grass/herbage mixes) to 1 tonne bulk sacks (agricultural, grassland, SFI mixtures). All seed is prepared and packed to order – which is particularly beneficial when processing mixtures and creating bespoke seed blends to meet specific customer requirements.

Our products are distributed nationwide and delivered direct to customers either by dedicated vehicles, palletised transport or courier, relevant to order size and destination. Where possible we aim to deliver mixture orders between 48 and 72 hours.
