Suffolk Seed Laboratory

The Suffolk Seed Laboratory is an independent, Government licensed seed testing station. Located on site at Moat Park, the lab is International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) accredited, APHA approved and fully licensed to assess the quality of cereal, oilseed, pulses, grass and other herbage species seeds.

It offers a comprehensive testing service for seed merchants, buying groups/co-operatives and independent farmers and growers.

A broad-spectrum of seed tests are available including: germination, purity, disease, moisture, Thousand Grain Weight and quality.  All samples are tested in accordance with government and ISTA regulations and to customer requirements.

Submissions can be made in person, via the post/courier and a sample collection service is also available.
